Good Karma Domes are built to the highest building standards. We work from Buckminster Fuller's original patents and tolerate only the finest tolerances. We can only speak for ourselves when comparing geodesic domes to concrete domes. Concrete domes mis-represent themselves when they say they are strong. #1 Strong as is relative to what? Concrete itself is Not strong. It is hard. If concrete were strong they would not need to reinforce it with steel. Concrete has compression strength but little shear and almost zero tensile strength. Once it reaches over its compression strength, it fails. Most concrete tests at 3500psi compression strength. #2 Look at your local concrete roads and bridges. Concrete breaks down on its own naturally through curing. This can take as little or as long as 10-20-30-40 years, but it is going to happen. Once it has fractured there is no proper way to fix it.

Good Karma Domes have been calculated by many independent certified engineers and 3-dimensional space frame computer analysis and tested in real-life extremes; tornadoes and hurricanes. A failure point has not been reached.
